Mr. Beyer’s science background allows him to effectively understand the intricacies in connection with patent and trademark law. With strong biology and chemistry knowledge, Mr. Beyer is capable of understanding an invention’s unique features and benefits. His knowledge and ability to communicate complex matters make him uniquely positioned to assist the attorneys with drafting patent applications and assisting in protecting them from possible invalidity claims.

Mr. Beyer hails from a long family line of attorneys but his early passion for science drew him toward a degree in medicine. On a path leading to a degree in dentistry, Mr. Beyer started to rethink his career during his final year of college. He realized that his love for science could be applied to a legal career, giving him the rare ability to support those in the field of science.

While at Maxey-Fisher, Mr. Beyer completed his Juris Doctorate and hasn’t looked back. He is passionate about IP law and enjoys the colorful variety every day. Whether it’s a new invention or a new trademark, he’s always ready for the challenge.

Volunteer Activities
As an avid baseball player, it was natural for Mr. Beyer to want to give back to those who loved playing ball as much as he did. During high school, he spearheaded a marketing plan for a Major League Baseball program designed to promote the rebirth of baseball in impoverished areas. He successfully solicited and collected 400 pounds of new and used baseball gear to distribute to children in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
